Thanks for telling me about it. （介系詞後面碰到動詞用動名詞）
Tim is going to play basketball with his friends. （注意，這里的「和」為介系詞，用with）
The weather in New York is colder than that in Nanjing. （有than，一定配比較級）
You need to buy a new schoolbag. （注意，need後直接加動詞原形，need為情態動詞，但need這個情態動詞只能用在否定句中，肯定句里的need用作實義動詞，表示需要，後面接帶to的動詞不定式）
Peter likes to make model planes at home. （like後碰到動詞，用動詞不定式和動名詞，這和中文不同，中文是孤立語，兩個動詞可以無條件地放在一起，英文是屈折語，兩個動詞放在一起，第二個動詞要作變化，變成非謂語動詞的形式）
There is a hill, a lake and a lot of trees near our house.（there be句型是就近原則，看第一樣東西來決定be動詞的單復數）
I would like to know much about you. （much作副詞，修飾動詞know）
David and Mike like watching football games. （主語為兩個人，動詞用的是復數，like不必加-s）
Mike's parents are both doctors.（父母為兩個人，兩者都怎麼樣，要用both）
