新课程标准倡导学生的全面发展,课堂教学要求体现以学生自主学习为主、教师指导为辅的理念,带来了传统教学模式的变革,这必然对教师的课堂话语 (教学语言)提出了更高、更新的要求。
一、教师话语的定义及重要性
教师话语指教师在课堂教学中向学生传授知识、培养智力能力时所使用的语言,也包括为了顺利完成教学任务而在课堂上组织管理学生时使用的语言,还包括少量的教育性语言。教师话语既是组织和控制课堂教学的工具,又是英语课堂所要教授的目的语的内容。教师话语在课堂教学中起着非常重要的作用,恰当合理的教师话语可以促进师生关系的和谐,可以激发学生学习的热情,起到提高英语课堂教学水平的实际效果。
二、提高初中英语课堂教师话语有效性的策略
(一)树立“以生为本”的价值观
在新课程标准的要求下,教师要树立“以生为本”的价值观,明确自己所进行的教育教学活动都是为了学生的全面发展。在进行课堂教学过程中,要无差别地对待不同学习程度的学生,对待后进生不管他们回答问题的答案如何,都要用恰当的语言来鼓励他们,激发他们学习英语的积极性,使他们更好地投入到英语学习中来。
